The province of Ilocos Sur has recently celebrated it's Kannawidan Ylocos Festival. Ilocos Sur especially Vigan is branded as the heart of Ilocandia by the Philippine Historical Committee. It's a province very rich in culture and heritage. Kannawidan means traditions and this province got to showcase all what it has. Kannawidan is a festivity which the City of Vigan celebrates every year. The Ilocano people, showcase cultural shows, native products and the talents of the Ilocanos. We need to preserve our rich heritage and unique culture. It was a fun-filled week of celebration of Kannawidan Festival in Ilocos Sur.

New Year, New Me

New Year, New Me

"New year, new me" is a phrase I often hear on the first of January. It is very common to start a new year's resolution on that day. This can be to give something up. People also like to start doing something new. These are so many things to that we can do.

I think new year's resolution are great idea to give people the motivation to do something good for themselves. It was a new year and it was time to change. One is to change our bad attitudes. Ofcourse, there is a big part of me that is pretty nervous about it all because every new year, I am always promising to change my bad attitudes but sometimes it is hard for me to do because I used to do that in my daily life like waking up early in the morning, being lazy sometimes and many more but I always keep on trying.

So, new year states that we need to forget the loneliness, the bad happenings but there is one thing that we must never forget eventhough it starts another year again and that is to never forget the lessons that taught you in the past.
